ARGH! I hate those pop-ups on my comp!computer erased it!!!!!!!! completely!
I got a full-sized page colored and ready to shade on my Painter 6 program. I was saving the page (I do it every few changes I make)...in the .riff format then I got this friggin' 'illegal operation' window that is going to close the painter program... DURING the save! had no choice... so I restarted the computer and the entire page only saved the background... all colored background boxes... crap before I saved it... it had 5 layers and canvas now it's saved the layer 1 and canvas whoever invented the 'illegal operation' pop-up should be shot and hung for display now if you excuse me, *bashes head on wall*

Go to 2K or XP. They are much much better as far as stability is concerned.

XP is slow but more stable
instead of illigal preformence stuff you have to wait 2 houres but it won't crash

That's the sort of thing that makes you want to throw a computer out a window.
I sympathise Adame. (a dame...) What I do is multiple saves every so often, (thisname.riff + thisname2.riff etc) or before I do a radical change. You never know. |
