Can someone help me please!

I'm too lazy to put in a gif for my sig and right now all I have is a smiley, but every time my sig goes up the smiley never works right the first time.
I have to go in and edit it to make it work.

Can someone please tell me what I have to do to keep from editing my sig every time just to get my smiley to work. I have tried every combination of spacing and I either have to add or remove a space each time I edit to make it work.

I know its trivial but its really beginning to piss me off!

You may need to find out what your cookies are set up for. At work, I don't have cookies and have to adjust everything every time. But at home, I have cookies on and just click along. Ziroc is working with the smilies too, so that may be having some affect on what you are doing.

I got all my cookies set up right and I can do smiles all day in the reply box,

but when I try to add my sig it just shows the smile code like this
