yes, i live in Oklahoma, and unfortunately not in Texas anymore since i rather liked it... the MA Connection is lacking a bit right now, i wish she were on more so that I could just listen to what she has to say... the frustration and lonliness eat away at me ever more by the nanosecond.

yeah, she chats on AIM. i am on AIM 24/7 due to this reason

. however, her DSL has been suffering problems as of last i heard on the situation (of the DSL, not of her), and there are plenty of other problems... luckily she has been returning my emails or well... the evening news would be talking about something quite a bit different. anyways, as long as i have her to look forward to i'll stay sane a bit longer, if not just to talk with her for five seconds...

Seeing as how this is general conversation can I put this in? A friend on mine got elected as Social Secretary of our student halls of residence the other day. He was up against a guy who everyone thought would win, but then it went to John (my friend, hereafter known as "Disco" for reasons too long to explain) on a landslide. We were all really pleased as now next year he will be able to stay in the hall and we can come back for all the parties thanks to him. My only problem with it is that he won't be living with us, and he is a great guy. Disco is the kind of person everyone gets on with, despite him not really trying at all to be nice. We think the other guy lost votes as he was drunk when he made his speech, someone asked him what he would do to make the hall VCR more available to people. He misunderstood the question and said:

"I know people who can get you a VCR if you want it..."

Bad, bad, move. Funny, but it lost him votes. Quite a few apparently. So anyway. We were all very pleased so I thought I should share it.
