I've only had one sex partner and one committed relationship and it is the best. The old phrase you can never miss what you've never had is true. I don't think I am missing out on anything and I love what I have now. I think it is great there are people who don't want long term rel. just as it's great there are some people like me. It is what makes the world interesting, all these beliefs and cultural differences are exciting things in the world.

The 'Free Sex' option only looks good on paper. Truthfully, that gets very hollow after a while and you start to feel afterwards like you're losing a little bit of yourself (your soul?) every time it happens. You end up longing for just one person who is right for you...and who you are right for.

The first one sounds very appealing, but is probably not going to happen for me...

I'd say a long term relationship would be BETTER, but I wouldn't want to jump to one right off...This is the rest of my life we're talking about here(or, im talking about...), so I want to expirience different things before committing myself 100% to anyone. Sure, if fate has it that I am to be forever more with the first person, then so be it. But "the plan" is not to jump on the marriage train right off

Yeah that girl is prob from a TV program. I had a mate who tried to be cool in school and cut a pic of a girl out of a magazine and told everyone it's his girlfriend. Hark, you sly dog

I didn't mean to start a huge debate about what is and is not a natural construct of homo sapien behvaiour, sometimes 4 years of studying primate behaviour and evolution kinda invades all other thoughts. and I agree with all those who pointed out the other monogamous species and those species who have sew just for pleasure (bonobos are so interesting in this respect). now from a purely biological point of view (and I invite anyone to agree or disagree with this) "monogamy" is a sexual mating strategy that has developed to optimize certain necessities of survival for a long-lived, long-nursing, high-energy species such as ourselves. yes there are exceptions to the rule and we can point out a million examples, but that's cause we have such a huge population that the frequency skyrockets, and our extremely intricate culture helps this. and.....I love my boyfriend, and don't want to touch anyone else
