First of all: I did not post this in ToB forum (where it may belong) out of the following reason:
BGT's purpose is to play through the whole game in one so people will start in BG1 and want ot go all to the end in one run. However there sadly is a plot-stopping bug in the ToB part which will interrupt that run. I find that particularly annoying as I'd love to have my game finished as I really got to like my party on this long journey. So to spare others the disappointment to play through the whole thing and have to stop in the midst I post this in the SoA forum where most people are likely to go if they want to discuss BGT. . To the actual bug: Got very far in the trilogy and most bugs were minor and could be easily fixed with minor CLUAing. The BG2+ToB part is almost bugfree as there's not much changed. However problems aris when creatures/NPCs from BG1 and BG2 have the same name/code. Most of these encounters are fixed or minor but one is, alas, a plot stopper. Sendai who only has a small appearance in BG1 (and probably is another character anyway) is one of the Five in ToB and has an annoying bug. IN the cutscenes she does not give her proper ToB speech but instead the BG1 conversation about "war with Amn" and "game hunting". This even allows you to choose answers in the conversation and afterwards she will either turn hostile or walk away (in the cutscene). Her minions' dialogues are not triggered. Now the cutscenes are not vital and you can MoveToArea to get farther ahead but once you are to face her she's not there. + You can spawn her but she will only give the BG1 dialogue. + If you spawn the statues (SENDAI2-SENDAI8) in the correct order they will attack and you can complete the battle however she is unkillable as she has a final statement before her demise. This again is - you guessed right - the dreaded BG1 dialogue and she remains unkillable afterwards. So the next Solar conversation and the next challenge cannot be triggered. . So far I have not found a workaround for that one and I guess I have to stop playing BG for now. Just wanted to warn you all ADD]found a nasty workaround, the classic "kill the unkillables with Int-Drain" So the closest workaround is: 1. I was afraid that this would have a negative effect on the game later but I just beat Abazigal and everything seems to be fine.

Yes I have, but Bardez is still working on bugfixing for the BG1 part and most people haven't got to the end of BG2 yet. So I (having too much time at my hands and being a fanatic 80ies "I'm gonna play this in one run" player) am virtually alone with this bug (although someone else has posted it before but most likely given up on continuing afterwards). I also know that not everybody playing BGT visits the forum and just wanted to give a warning to people who might be afraid of such a major plot stopper.
I also recently realized that the original release (which I am playing) features improved bosses, so my Sendai workaround may not be completely honest.
