Dead Stout Most Often Found?

Where is the dead stout? Or where is he most often found? I found the Stout Mine, and the little Stout he said he would give ANYTHING for a drink. And I checked around for the dead body (while watching my back for the wolf), and instead I came upon the Boogre Hovel. Is the body anywhere near where I am now? Well, I have to skip the Boogre Hovel for now, since my warrior has minion's curse, and I don't have anything to rid him of it. Oh, ya about that Bloodstone Griffin, someone said it says riddles, I think they may have been kidding, since I was attacked before anything else.

Between the Stout Mines and the burial grounds (that Jathil was seeking). If you keep to the right hand path as you go back north towards the burial ground, you will find a dead end path on the west side - this is where the burnt body and the writ can be found!
