Its Canada day today! And my dads birthday [img]tongue.gif[/img] . And its so sad that Edmonton won't allow the fireworks cuz of a fire ban in our area. People can't even use the gas stoves out camping [img]redface.gif[/img] !

And now...a tidbit of info about Canada/Canadians.

Did you know that in the War of 1812, Canada burnt down the White House???????

Happy Canada fellow Canadians! And yes the beaver is a noble animal, it's pronounced 'Zed' not 'Zee' I AM CANADIAN!

Nope I live in Nanaimo land of perpetual rain so we don't have a fireworks ban. There's a fire ban for camping in the summer for a few weeks which sucks because you can't even have a campfire! What is camping without a campfire?
There's supposed to be a fireworks display down on the waterfront tonight, but it looks like rain...again...
