Start of Game

HELP! Just got this game for christmas. Have successfully completed the tutorial. I can't get past those stupid flying monkeys(minscs)in that lighting bolt room. What the best way to kill them? What am I doing wrong?

Hi ORACK,
Are you making sure that you move your cursor over every object in rooms etcetera? There is a mechanism in the room that will turn into the use cursor, and you can turn off the crystal that powers the teleporter. You will still have to kill the Mephits that are allready there, but no new ones will teleport in.

You also have to pick up and equip the weapons and armor in the room with the golem.

Thank You for quick response. I think if I can just get an initial feel for what to expect and how to work this game, then I will be ok.

I'm familiar with moving the cursur to find objects . I solved Riven (with only minor cheating). This seems similar and that's why I like it. I need to practice my moves and fighting abilities. I'm just going to do a lot of saving until I get the hang of it.
