Ideas, Ideas.. Imagine, Timetravelers from Faerûns future.. what weapons would THEY have? Or if an alien craft crashed in the Trollbark forest, and little Greys came out?

You could use the DM mode to implement it.

On a Baldur's Gate PW of old I used that to make life more fun for some überchars.

I remember them running from a balor lord.

Well, why not simply have some SpellJammer stuff show up and be done with it? That and some PlaneScape material? After all, with everything the CODI have released, I am sure there are more than a few things which could be easily tinkered to have brand new looks and abilities.
