Wizards--possible bug?

My wizardess, is an 8th level moon elf wizard, no specialty, is wearing phaens robe of rags, a ring of mage armor, and a ring of animal friendship. She is using a plain old longbow with normal arrows...she has a 20 dex, and the bug you ask...she has +11/+7/+7/+7/+7/+7 to attack with the longbow, using any other one handed weapon that doesn't use dex, she is +6/+0/+0/+0/+0/+0...

i'm regretting not giving her an 18 strength.

so anyone else have this kind of problem??? if you could consider it such?

well, i leveled and now its gone

Use a Feat point on weapon finesse and you can use short blades with the same proficiency as your bow.

Kalak - yes it's a bug, i've read on some other forums about casting melf's minute ... it sets your attacks to 5, and then conviently forgets to reset them back to normal. (the level up does reset them) i'm not sure if the patch adresses this or if the next patch will either.
