It's that time of the year again, anyone willing to make a prediction yet ?
Personally i'm not sure anymore. The Lakers are dismantled, which should make me happy, but it does take a certain amount of charm away from the playoffs, doesn't it ? I'd rather see them go down on the court like last year, instead of not seeing them at all. I guess Kobe isn't the next MJ after all. Here are the first round fixtures Philadelphia-Detroit Indiana-Boston Washington-Chicago Miami-New Jersey Houston-Dallas Sacramento-Seattle Phoenix-Memphis San Antonio-Denver Feel free to choose sides, make predictions, and curse the Lakers out I'll go first...i'm putting my money on the Pistons again, against all odds.

I'm not putting my money on anything. You probably should know why.

Go Kings!! These guys would be a great team if they were consistent and did not choke at critical times. When they are hot, no one can keep up with them. When they are cold, even the Lakers have a chance at beating them.

San Anton is going to play Miami for the title and the Spurs are gonna win. Shaq is so dominate, but the Spurs are too deep for the rest of the NBA, and they rotate so crisply on "D" its just ridiculous. And in the weak east, Miami should walk away with it easily.
I think if Spurs get to play Phoenix it will be some great basketball.

No real upsets on day one, except for maybe Houston stealing the Mavs homecourtadvantage.

I saw this coming from a mile away, the Nuggets are probably the hottest team of them all right now. They started out slow, but got things going right on time. They had to struggle to make it to the playoffs, but right now i don't think there's a single team around who'd prefer to face them. It's too early to write either one off, but the Spurs have their work cut out for themselves in the remainder of their first round series.
