Missing People In Five Flagons

at five flagons inn in bridge area

when i enter the basement inside the inn there is standing 3 persons right in front of me ... but after 1-2 secs they are gone ... is that surpose to happen ???

any newer ones ? i ask b/c the BG2 update botten doesn't work for me :/

IIRC they only stay around if you go there before getting a certain gem related quest. I reckon you picked something up in the sewer and that is the reason for your visit to the 5 Flagons playhouse, no?

btw why do they disappear anyway ? bug ?

Not a bug... they would ask for your money to watch the play, but I guess that doesn't need to happen since you already have the gem.

I don't believe it can be classified as a bug. They are spectators watching a play. When you bring the gem the actors stop working = no play = no reason for the audience to hang around. Your game is perfectly normal as far as I am concerned. They always leave in my game too.
IIRC = If I Recall Correctly. Meaning I type from memory as I haven't played in a while. Doesn't people use abbreviations anymore. ROFLMAO? IMHO? AFAIK? LOL? AFK?

Yeah, that is normal. It is in their script I believe to check if you have the quest started, not the area's, so until they are present they cannot leave, in a way. And yes, people still love abbrevations, although IIRC and IMHO are not very common ones outside of gaming forums.
