The re-invokable items tip has been listed before. ---invoke cool item, sell to shop, buy back and reinvoke.

Moreover, you can further increase skills by reinvoking items which 'grant' skills. eg. The Assassin's Dagger.

This is especially beautiful in this case. My Bard (Also L10 Rogue), has the Merchant skill. He invokes the Dagger, sells it to the shop, buys it right back (for a grand total net cost of 500 something gp!!!) WOO. Keep rebuying it and reinvoking and I now have a whopping 7 Deathstrike ability!!! Now I just need to get Doublestrike for my dear ol Bard and he'll be doubledealing the deathstrikes!!!

Heres a tip:
I put my Assassin's Dagger on the ground outside the east side of BR. I checked on it dozens of times and it stayed there along with my other pile of used quest items and keys. Then after a particularly long visit to Skull Castle, I find that the dagger is gone. So DONT do that, if you want to keep the dagger. Just put it in a Wizard's inventory and forget about it til you need it.

Thank you Wyvern for walking me through the process of getting my Assassin's dagger back.

No, nein, kein, und, unfall verboten!
Don't just lay your stuff on the ground, put it in that big storage space in the back of das boat! I have never lost anything from there. Actually, you should have a pack mule or 3 at the Inn for this kind of stuff. that way if you ever want it, or to re-use it again, you know exactly where it's at.

I recall someone storing a whole lot of shells on the back of their boat and loosing all of them so that isn't recommended either! Best choice is to have someone extra in the inn to hold things.
