I was wondering what determines how good your saving throws are. I don't have my manual right now so I can't figure out how my dwarf fighter/cleric has no saving throw higher than 8! is it constitution that determines saving throws? cuz other characters have higher constitution than him but higher saving throws as well. And no he is not wearing anything that gives him a bonus to saving throws . by the way, he is level 5/5
thanks |

The Saving throw is modified by level, and magical items and armor
not all spells have saving throws That is what stands in my manual ------------------ So says the Lord of Terror, and so it is written. |

Also, I think Dwarves, Gnomes and Halflings get a saving throw modifier for certain saving throws.
