Well, using netscape as I do, I find that I have to reload thread pages constantly. The thread downloads and netscape says that it is done with the document and all I have is a brown screen, with nothing below the headings
where it says Ironworks Gaming Forum and that number of pages for the thread.
Anyone know why this is happening? Is there a way to fix this?
I am using Netscape 4.77 and have used Netscape 6.01 as well with the same outome. Perhaps I should try IE 5.5?

You're not alone, Wulfere! It happens with Internet Explorer, as well. The page won't refresh manually; I find I have to hit the "Refresh" button just to see what I typed...or what someone else added in.

Minor annoyance...but an annoyance, nonetheless.

It happens to me all the time.

I still find struggling with it easier to deal with than IE though.

Oh yes! I'm having that problem alot lately with both Netscape AND Internet Explorer. Began to wonder just what good a cable modem does me! LOL

Thanks for the info folks...I thought it was just my crappy connection or maybe Netscape. Sigh oh well I like this place and it only slows me down a bit. Guess I will have to live with it.
Take care all time to go back to work. Ugh!

Ok gotta go really.. I hate to since the heat index is up over 100 already for the day. Nothing like working in a plant with 2,000 f furnaces running behind you. Take care see ya later. Maybe I will try IE later tonight.

I've noticed the same thing, with both IE and Netscape. For me, it's only been that way since the boards came back up after the "shutdown". When I first started posting on the boards, the page used to refresh automatically after I posted. Oh well, having a cable modem at home, and a T1 at work makes living with it not too bad...

When I had Netscape I had more problems with it than IE. So I went back to IE.
