Whaa? That was weird...

I was waylaid by enemies on my way to the promenade, but for some reason, we had a brief dialogue about them being sent by someone...

They then proceeded to turn into my party members and attack me. Weird. Who sent them to do that? I'm in Chapter 6 and them only people I can think of are Fikragg or Bodhi. This never happened in my other games, though...

This also happened to me in chapter 6. I never found out who sent them. I think it may just be a weird random encounter.

Happened to me too. I was pretty excited about it, as it allowed me to kinda kill:

Jan, for the incessant turnip comments (I hate turnips)
Jaheira, for not loving me faster
Minsc, for sometimes being a complete dink
Imoen, for sometimes being a scaredy-cat
Keldorn, for being a Paladin

The only situation I can remember when that happened to me had something to do with the thief stronghold quest... But that may be another discussion.

It is just random. I had it happen to me in the geggining of the game.
Must be another never finished quest.

Exactly. If good ole' Irenicus was gonna send out some clones after my fanny, they'd probably woulda been alot more powerful and thee fight wouldn't be a random encounter. That's why I thought they were sent by someone else.

'twas quite nice to give Anomen a good smack, even if my NPC was romancing him. And surprisingly enough, it was the Aerie clone that was the last one standing..wish she could put up a stand like that in MY party
