Just wondering if you guys have any favorite RPC. I know all of you would pick RFS-81 coz he's loyal and would follow you anywhere without any complain.

The question is: Aside from RFS-81 who’s the RPC you would like bringing around and why? Rank your top 5 or top 3 (1 being the highest)

Here's mine

1. Madras - coz of the cool gadgets
2. Saxx - It's Barry White baby yeah!
3. Tantris - Criticals!!!
4. Nyles - A rogue makes a great fighter upfront
5. Vi-Domina - Nice hooters with priest spells

rx80 or whatever hes called is the best rpc because he travels to the most places, everywhere but the rapax away camp

the rapax rpc is usually going to be the most powerful when you find him though. He travels almost no where though and quickly leaves you and attacks you.

The fact is there's quite bite of people who only like RFS-81 and no other RPCs.
I tryout a bunch of RPCs and found that many of them worthless. They also take up
exp.

Here is a list of the RPCs I like (other than the robot)

1. Vi ( Sticks with your party for most of the game, has a polearm skill and can learn priest spells)

2. Madras- very useful if you don't have a gadgeteer!

3. Saxx- I found bards extremly usefull for this game.

rfs is marginally worth having, particularly if your party needs some carry capacity. but, imo, none of them are worth giving up 1 or 2 experience levels for (ie for sharing around experience with them)

Is it just me or did anybody else notice that when you first get rfs, he can never hit anybody. maybe it was just my game but my ex. was that in a battle, he only hit about 2x, attacking about 10x.

I found that if you give RFS the potion which says it is for android repair he gets much much better, and he does`nt even get mixed up when talking.

Hmm, I thought you HAD to give RFS-81 the potion to get him to join you.

it's been so long since i played a party with rfs, i cant remember exactly.

however, my experience with monks in general is that the martial arts bonus is the key behind hit and penetration. make sure you pump that three per level, build up make sure you build speed (or dex) each level up to help learn martial arts more quickly, and a bit of strength can help penetration too (and add to that damage).

one thing i do recall about rfs, is that his highest attributes are strength and speed, which was what first gave me the idea of building a monk in those attributes.

I found that first RFS is neutral, then you say friendly or whatever, and you can get him to join you. Then give him potion, and I found he gets much, much better.
