I dumped Imoen because by the time I rescued her in Chapter 4 her spell book was pathetic compared to Nalia's. And I wasn't really interested in the thieving abilities - more concerned about their spellcasting. But yes, I must admit I should have kept her for the story's sake...

Another thing you could have done was supplied her with a ton of spells and an int' potion, got her to learn the spells, reaped the XP and then dumped her.

I had that trouble. Go and complete some easy sub-quests. Spoiler
Go to the circus tent and answer the first riddle (number 3 is the answer) Then free Aeriee the monster by killing the peasents. you get big exp. points. |
