Ok, here the deal, I have been playing BG2 since it came out and have had a blast with it, but the problem is, I think ive played it too much and now it doesn't seem fun anymore. I need a way to make it seem fun again. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Try a drastic change in alingment: ie, play as a VERY evil dude (or very good guy)

Or a wild change of character and\or difficulty level could help. Try a class like the bard! Or even go to Jons place and get one oof the new kits like the DragonDancer.

Or mabey you need to give yourself a liiiitle break from it? I dunno, whatever makes it better i guess!

no, even better, become a Paladin the KILL EVERYONE and become a fallen paladin

(not very useful but very novel)

then walk into the Orders headquarters and watch them get reeeeal angry!

Try to create custom spells and items, just don't make "over-kills".

Also, follow Jerome's suggestions, play something evil/drastic change in alignment, just to explore other opportunities. Or why not go on a psychotic rampage and attempt to kill everything in sight?

Download some other kits from the net, but they are not supported by Bioware or Interplay. Still, it's something new to try.

Or....just hang around 3 more months and hope there is no delays to the expansion.

Fallen paladin is basically a fighter who cannot go further than specialization in weapons. All paladin related benefits (e.g. lay-on-hands, detect evil ... etc) are gone.
