~ For once, her pale cheeks are tinted with a rosy colour and she hurriedly steps away, straightening her robe as she does so ~ "I wish your father had been more... specific, about what he wanted... from... you..." ~ Doubling over and choking on her words, she grabs the piece of lace Meldrin had gagged her with, and coughs into it. Traces of the residual poison mar the lace and she tries to hide it ~

Larry has no idea what they can do while waiting for Spree and Deiter to show up. It could be hours before they do so. They have all the supplies they need, and have their spells memorized. The townfolk are not that amusing, but there has got to be something to do to occupy their time, and be productive in doing so.

"Anybody wanna practice their skills? I could use a little advise from you, Mistral on the handling of the katana, if you don't mind...yet how can Kaz practice anything? "

Kaz shrugged. "I could use a little help using my dagger, I guess..." she says wryly.

OOC: Hello! Don't you just love time zones? I guess that Larry is having lunch, it's evening here and midnight near you! I SUPPOSE we could play NWN like this - you in the evening/early night, me in the afternoon and them in the morning. We'd have to do Sundays though, when they do not have school/work. Oh great...
EDIT: Doncha just LOVE it when you forgot ONE STUPID < while using colors and the whole text goes crazy?

(ooc: Is Kaz still around?)

~ She shoves the lace back into the pocket of the robe ~ "Kaz has a dagger, doesn't she?" ~ Turns to look at Kaz ~ "Would you like to join us, Kaz?" ~ Returning to address Larry ~ "I'm not confident of teaching you anything, Larry. After all, my professional training stopped when I turned to the study of magical arts. But I can try..." ~

~ Draws Brightblade out and adopts a defensive position. ~ "Shall we?" ~

(OOC: At that rate, a new game would probably have come up by the time we finished it... ... I think I asked before, but no one answered. How does NWN work?? Do we set our own plots / monsters or is it just like a multi-player BG2 game but the graphics are in 3D??)

"My pleasure, ma'am!"

OOC...this is a good practice at being creative in our descriptions of the fighting art, wich usually needs to be more detailed to give good action...remember that I am left-handed...

Larry draws out Nightblade, the steel shining blue, and makes a slow yawning arc around Mistral's right side, stops quickly, and races in for the attack at her exposed left side...At the same time, keeping an eye on Kaz to see if she will join in with her dagger.

~Raising her right arm in a fluid motion, she draws an imaginary arc with her right arm with Brightblade tilted towards the ground. There is a clash of steel as the two blades meet. Strangely, there seems to be a humming sound in the background...~

(ooc: Is this generally a guys thing or what? I know Spree has a gifted talent... I'll try my best to be descriptive but I've never paid attention to it particularly in the past...)

OOC...NWN can be played several different ways.
You can play the adventure that you buy without going online. You can download new pieces to that game, you an play preset games online, or what will really be fun is like what Ziroc is going to do. He can create a world for us to travel in, and he can be the dungeon master. He can take on the avatar of any monster he wishes, or can even become a stranger in a town that we meet to give us advise. He has control of everything, and we play in his world. You should go to the website and read all about it.
