How about fighter4/druidx?One thing I don't like about druid is that their spells are not focused on one type.So you will need to invest alot of feats on these spell focuses, let alone the elemental feats. What I want to ask is,can druids be a good fighter? If so,I will replace my silverstar of selune with him.I really like some of the spells like smashing waves which does a lot of damage.

Yep, indeed druids are quite good fighters. Often, their shapeshifted form complements fighter skills too. I would definitely suggest taking at least one level of fighter: 4 would be good too, though I think towards the end of the game, you start running out of good feats. That's why I recommend the ranger (1)/druid (x). A fighter (4)/druid(x) can still become incredibly powerful though, so it's your choice. A fighter build will give you more versatility (ie weapon specialization, and if you don't want to go dual-wield you can spend feats elsewhere) but I find that the earlier druid spells are incredible also. Really, it's your choice, knowing that a fighter (4)/druid (x) will be geared towards more melee combat.

But you've gotta be careful about choosing to go with a fighter 4/druid X cuz those 4 fighter levels will cost you 4 upper levels of druid.
I think that it depends on how you want to play a druid. If you want to play them as a different kind of offensive spellcaster, go pure class. OTOH, if you are thinking more of a mixed fighting and spellcasting druid, then maybe fighter 4/druid X is more your style. |

YES, druids totally rule.
Great spells, but beware of higher level summoning.

Probably because if you summon elementals, you'll need to be protected from Evil to avoid having them attack your party.
