Everytime I try to get to AP my game crashes. I have all the necessary elements to enter I believe (3 artifacts), so I don't know if there is something I am forgetting to do or if I need to get a patch. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I am currently playing version 1.0

That's your problem. Bug in v1.0 ... You will need to get the patch. There's a few places to grab it... wizardry8.com has it, my website (link in my signature) has it... and probably a number of other places.
