The Hunters are an excellent map, my personal favourite!
But I play an aboundance of various maps, and all my *coughs* stupid *coughs* friends seem to adore the Big Game Hunters, which I find a complete Brains-off.
I also fashioned a nubmer of maps, most proud of heavily (HEAVILY) editing The Vampire RPG, so I suggest you try find the latest version, there are several.

Now, about the lings, or anything + free drones:
Take 50 drones.
Take 300 lings so your supply is full.
Start morphing the drones into hatchys or something else that takes loooooong to build.
Build 100 lings.
Cancel build.
Bravo!
You now have 50 drones over supply!

P.S.
I just love it when i play 4 on 4 with my clan on the net vs some other clan.
1*ZERG + 1*TERRAN + 2*PROTOSS = 1600+ units on our side!

Best thing with terran to stop an early zergling rush is build supply depots infront of the entrance to your base where units can't get around then put 2-3 bunkers right behind them and an scv in the middle to repair the depot.

marine=50 minerals
supply depot=100 minerals
bunker=100 minerals
surviving the first rush= Priceless

Really, that's a good tactic, but you have to conside that is not the only way into your base. Most players don't. Once I played with a ...weird... man and I managed to burrow 8 zerglings into his base, infront of his CC before the 4th minute, and I had them there for about an hour. Did we have a laugh when I unburrowed them, jess!

I allways play as Terran
but NOTHING can wistand 12 Protos carriers, trust me it's a scary thing to see coming for you and being able to do nothing about it, if you have the resources you really need nothing but carriers.

There is a very cheap medicine for groups of carriers, ylthough I do not consider 12 carriers a very large threat. Have three science vessels, a few ghosts, a few goliaths, and see if a carrier group with less than 20 crosses your perimiter defenses.
Do you want to know what's really scarry? Being attacked by two Battlecruisers when playing Zerg for 4 minutes. Being invaded by archons on the 6th minute while having nothing but 80 zerglings. Scouting with a few lings and meeting a large force of zealots en route to your base.
And do you want to know what I enjoy doing to poor people? When I have a Zerg enemy, I like to place a few nydus canals in unsuspecting places... in his base. They almost never realize it, and when they do, it's allready too late. Second, I like rushing 120 zerglings in five minutes. I like hearding guardians, and I adore making tactical defenses. How to defend from an overly large force of battlecruisers? Three defilers, 15 hydras, 5 lings(no, you're not going to attack the battlecruisers with lings). Throw swarm on hydras, throw plague on battlecruisers, eat lings, repeat process.
There are more stuff, but I don't want to reveal all my secrets here and now.

Okay, now I need a replay from Bozo of Bones to see his "120 Zerglings in 5 minutes". [img]tongue.gif[/img] It need not be from Battlenet, Singleplayer will do as well. Feel free to send it to me via e-mail.

ADD] On a sidenote, no decent Starcraft player will use a pure Carrier fleet. It's pure suicide. There are too many counters to it. All the races have at least 2 counters to it, if not more.

I'll send you the replay if i can find one in the files. If not, I'll acquire StarCraft again, and make the replay. And yes, any pure fleet is pure suicide. 'Cept for lings. And ultras.
