So it was a joke? Hard to tell just looking at the text. If I had heard them say it, it might be easier to tell. Afterall, sometimes people are joking, sometimes they're just saying something stupid. And reading it doesn't always make it clear.

If this dry humor was seen by any of you as an actual honest mistake -- i.e. that this congressman thought an island could *actually* capsize, or flip over -- then please say so and post it here. I want to point and laugh at your ignorance. I mean, really.
Like, it sounds Micah actually believes this. What has this world come to when a press spin on a statement can convince an otherwise seemingly smart person that a US Congressman actually believed an island could flip over.
