It's funny though, just the other day I was thinking about how stupid and trivial the lives of the rich and famous are. I see it every time I log into hotmail: "Now on MSN, J. Lo and Marc Anthony's Wedding" or "Did you know? Brad Pitt sends his mother a $250 bouquet of flowers every week." I mean honestly, who cares? I'm so unconcerned with those overpaid actors, and attention like this only increases their bank balances. It sickens me to read about how lavish and wealthy they all are. Sometimes I really do think western civilization is on the verge of collapse, like the Roman Empire many centuries ago. It's all so decadent, it can't go on for much longer, surely?

As for the topic of the thread, yeah I completely agree - what a load of bollocks! Who gives a damn about celebrities' lives? Certainly not me. Then again, I don't read any magazines or newspapers or listen to or watch the news much either. I'm not that interested in what's going on in the world full stop, let alone in celebrities' lives. As stated, they are overpaid and decadent and most of them cannot hold a marriage together for more than 3 years, they're not exactly fit role models for today's kids or anything.
