The ending part cracked me up LOL, as it was so totally on target for me LOL! hey, I'm a lazy sort LOL and they got me with that LOL!

Anyway, you'll know what I'm talking about once you've clicked on the link and read the questions that pop up. No typing in answers, just keep looking and reading the questions and do it in your head.

OK this one scard me LOL! Tried it once, and it got me! But thought I had figured out how it did it, yet tried again at another angle, and it got me again! Somebody tell me how they do it, or tell me that they didn't get you too and it is just coincidence LOL!

There's gotta be something to it. Just give me a few years to figure that out..

That # test is one of those 9-divisible sorts. I think that animal is most common and the fruit probably the only that starts with that letter.

Still astounded by the card game.

Nope, I'm apparently unusual. I got a yak in Germany eating a kumquat.

Yup, the trick is that the sum of the individual digits of any number multiplied by 9, is 9.
Eg 3 x 9 = 27 2 + 7 = 9
7 x 9 = 63 6 + 3 = 9

And so on.

So you end up subtracting 5 from 9 *always*, and end up with 4, which corresponds to the letter 'D'.

I wonder if there are any countries apart from Denmark that start with 'D'. Offhand I can't think of any. Does "Democratic Republic of Congo" count??

As for the card trick, look carefully at the 2 sets of cards. You'll notice that *none* of the cards that are shown to you to choose in the first set is present in the second set (after you've clicked to discard a card). Sneaky huh?

Here's what Rev Ruby had to say about it...

All number times nine give multiple digit numbers that add to 9 subtract 5 you 4 the letter d.
Okay so she hasn't posted that here, but she said that in MSN. Thought i'd give her credit. Oh and Alicat we did it wrong lol.

Was hoping nobody right off would post the answer to the card one, oh well, thread dead now, no use keeping it.

thanks though for those that gave ideas on the first test, and how they may come up with answers, was wondering!

Try this one: http://www.humorsphere.com/fun/color.php

No tricks or sneaky stuff, just straight-forward test of your reflexes and quick thinking.

BTW, I got it 100% correct but it wasn't easy.
