Are the storekeeper's wares the same throughout the game? I'd like to cast the Find Familiar spell, but can't find the scroll anywhere!

No, the wares are NOT the same in the game, keep searching. Their are two shopkeepers who have plenty of scrolls once you are out of the beginning dungeon in chapter 1.

Checked in the first part of town that I found myself at after I's little playhouse, but no score. I won't give up, but I'm kicking myself for not taking it when I first started playing.

One of the shadow thiefes who gets killed by a vampire has one.
Also, at the city gates their is a merchant being threatend by some crook. If you chase him away the merchant will sell you the scroll and after that he disappears. |
