Along with Teens driving irrisponsibly I also object to parents giving their kids or allowing their kids to have, "Muscle cars" with 200+ horsepower that can do 0-60 in 6 seconds and can hit top speeds of 150mph.....is it the teens fault he has an accident?? or the assinine parent who allowed him to have that car? A 90hp Hayundi will do the job and is way less likely to get the kid killed!!!! oops again I go into rant mode way too easily

hehe! I had to really rein in MY response so as not to rant, m/s.

But it IS the responsibility of the parents as well. My father gave me an old Chevy truck (oh! how I miss that old truck!) that he had paid $1500.00 for. I had to earn the money to fix it up, I had to earn the money to get insurance (he REFUSED to put me on his ) and I had to do most of the restoration myself. I also did not receive this truck until I was 19 years old.

And I am one of the BEST drivers on the road today - very defensive. You respect what you have to earn. Even my father who gripes constantly about 'women drivers' has told me that I drive better than HE does. I've only had three accidents in 14 years of driving and none were my fault. *puffs up*
