Does anybody have any tips on how to overclock my Gateway PIII 450. I would like for it to go a litte faster for when I play my BGII at high res.

And remember FANS. LOTS of fans! (Fans inside the case, fans outside the case, on top and underneath...) I might be exagerating just a little, but overclocked cpu's get VERY HOT!

It is kind of an iffy thing overclocking a Gateway. I would find out what kind of motherboard and Processor you have. If it is a PIII you should be able to overclock it. I have found one of the better boards for overclocking is the ABIT. Some of the newer PIII's are on a 133 mhz bus. Yours shouldn't be, but if it is, you can't overclock. If your processor is on a 100 mhz bus and your motherboard will support faster, like 124, 133 etc, you can increase the motherboard bus speed incrementally and it will increase the speed that your processor runs at. I would recomend having very good memory to do this, and also throwing a couple of extra cooling fans in the case, because it does make the processor run hotter. I used to have a PIII 450 that I had running at 700 mhz very stable. There are a million other variables, but you should be able to do it.

If you ever need help with this sort of thing again Umgar just give me a shout, I tend to hang out in the BG2 section of the board more than here.
