Ive just got Valygar and replaced korgan with him.
I know Korgan is a great fighter but with minsc and my PC as a fighter i feel ive got close combat covered.Plus valygar has good stealth abilities and nice trap abilities. Have i done the right thing? However i dont know who Valygar will fall out with so if someone could let me know it will be great. Oh yeah one more more thing. ive just killed the lord of shade geezer and was wondering what level i should be before killing the dragon just before him? Thanks a lot. ------------------ Nice one fella!! |

SPOILER ALERT-TELLS WHERE SOME ITEMS R
. . . . . . . . . . . . If u pick up Valygar, go to the guarded compound in temple district fight through the tough monsters and traps, and grab celestial fury, the best katana in game as ive found, and a must-get weapon for any katana user Now Korgan is a shield user. After u do trademeet quests the women in the mayors house gives u a shield that protects from a bunch of hold and confusion spell affects, the kind that constantly screw u up throughout the game, and it gives u 3 AC, good enough combod with the protections. I prefer Korgan over Valygar, you'll find that Korgan dies a lot less than valygar. I think Korgan is the better pick, |

I prefer Keldorn, he gets best weapon in game, with it hes an evil killing maniac and 90 percent of hostiles you'll face in game r evil

It also depends on whether you want a good or an evil party. Korgan is evil, so he will fit better in an evil party than in a good one.

I like Valygar, especially since you were wondering about killing that shadow dragon.
SPOILER * * ok it's fairly common strategy around to set the traps to kill the stupid dragons....and yes on most of them it is cheap. However on the shadow dragon you have a wardstone so you have an excuse for getting away with it . Take your newfound Valygar and set all his traps around that nasty shadow dragon and he'll be at least half dead before he ever starts attacking you. Makes your level requirements much lower. ------------------ "Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans." - Lennon |
