Editing items

Is there way to edit items in the game using an editor or messing with the files?

Go to www.teambg.net and check out their Tools section. It's pretty straightforward. You'll want IEEP and WinBiff, and do you have ShadowKeeper? That's an easy way to find out the codes to specific items, though there is another way... I forget what it is, though.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Before you edit *anything*, make a copy of your chitin.key file and save it someplace else. That way, if something goes horribly wrong, you'll have the backup.
