This is a tad on the odd side, but I figured it would be a treat for anyone out there who'se struggled to get their emmulation thing on... Now we've got LEGAL ones O_O
http://www.sega.com/games/pc/segacla...M=realtoejam-d Has all the popular ones, though I'll note Sonic 3 and Ranger X aren't in there, I hope to start a petition to get ranger x on there soon (in my opinion one of the finest 16 bit games ever) And they've even got a flash version of panzer dragoon orta: http://immersion.sega.com/panzer/size.html Wouldn't ya know it... So just some interesting things to, once again, occupy your time and energy There's something for everyone, Role playing with Ecco and PSII, Puzzles with Columns and the Mean Bean Machine, Sonic 1 and 2, Vectorman for the platform-shooter, ToeJam and Earl for.. Funk... and Virtua Fighter 2, which is actually a 3D fighting game

That's the entire point.
Many would gladly pay for these old classics, but that would require someone willing to sell them. Because Sega (and all retailers) are unwilling to put any effort into marketing them or distributing them. It is therefore many companies now release oldies for free. As a way to cater for their fans. After all they wouldn't earn any more money on them anyway.

I just bought Vectorman one and two from Funcoland a month or two ago. Some stores still sell Sega games.
