what do you think of my knew sword idea:
Tyrrome'al +5

Tyrrome'al was the champeon of barbarians. the ultamte barbarian fighting machine. this sword was created for him by his father to protect him from the evil entities that loomed around outside the village. The most viceos of which was a eldar dragon called Phyyl (phil). He was a chaotic evil giant of a dragon.when Tyrrome'al was 19 the dragon attacked his village raining fire and chaos onto the people. Tyrrome'al had had enough. He spent 2 days gathering items from friends to help kill the dragon. this was the present from his father to help him. He walked to Phyyl's cavern and entered.
A grand battle followed with Tyrrome'al ending up on the dragons chest after knocking it down. just before peircing the dragons heart to kill the creature he noticed a amulet stuck to the side of the dragons neck. reaching down and pulling the amulet off there was a blinding flash that sent Tyrrome'al flying off the dragons chest.
after he scrambled to his feet ready to launch into an attack his sword started glowing. it used detect alighnment on the dragon. the dragon was know chaotic good. the dragon rolled over and got to his feet, dazed from the attack. Tyrrome'al shouted "be ye good or evil." the dragon replide in a voice sounding like a thousand city shouting at once. "i am good. thank you for removing the amulet of controle from me. an evil warlock called Tinuque placed the amulet on me eons ago. he probably dead now."
Tyrrome'al and the dragon talked for a while about the warlock. the dragon gave Tyrrome'al 13 of his giant scales which where forged into armour.
The dragon is roumored to still be alive today whilst no-one reallyknows what happerned to Tyrrome'al.

Interesting idea dude

Can i show you mine?

Katana +4, Merveilles
The katana is a single-edged, slightly curved sword that ends with a chisel point. The katana is perhaps one of the finest swords ever made, the steps to its creation a long and secret process, that is more art form than anything else. This blade is an important facet of Kara-Tur culture. To touch or wield a samurai's katana is to insult the samurai and to incite his wrath. For a gaijin, or foreigner, to own such a blade is a rare occurrence. Either the gaijin is a greatly honored friend of an important minister, or the gaijin has murdered a samurai.
This blade was specifically created to combat the powers of magic users and clerics, it served it's owner well until she encountered a party of Talosian Clerics who had been tracking her movements and activities for months. Before she could close for combat, several dozen lightning strikes blasted her of the face of Faerun. Her blade was apparently unaffected by the blasts and was recovered along with it's companion "L'arCenciel" by the Clerics. How it left their possesion is a mystery.
"Merveilles" has been heavily enchanted and is particularly devastating against magic users and clerics.

Yeah, it is overkill ain't it? I never use it though (really). Just thought up a quick, short story and made a sword to go with it...

Well, i eould say in the context of Baldur's Gate 2 both of htese weapons are rather overpowered, bu tthey might be of acceptible level for ToB, but that's just my guess.
