One Of My Friends Cousins Went Out To A Nightclub And Wasn't Seen Again. Yesterday They Found His Body On A Beach In A Gully.
I Really Don't Know What To Say To Him, He Seems Very Depressed, And Rightly So. What Should I Say To Him To Make Him Feel Better, Anyone?

Oh.. tough one, I really wouldn't know what to say, but sometimes just being supportive helps, you might not have to say anything.
Wow, it's a bad period at IW recently, there's been a lot of stuff like this happening... just hope everyone pulls through ok.

There is nothing you can say to make him feel better. That will take time. He is in shock. You can just be there, be supportive, and listen if he wants to talk. The best thing to say when someone loses someone is the simple thing-----"I'm so sorry."

Yeah, Reeka's right.
The best thing you can do now is just to be there for him, and be supportive. Ohh, and tell him that all your friends here are very sorry for him. Or something like that. God, i's just TOO BAD that these things happeneds in the World. see ya! |

Binky, I agree with everyone, plus, if you are close to him, try to do something with him to take his mind off of it. Too many people in mourning are avoided by their acquaintance, because they feel like they don't know what to say, when a comforting preswence is a whole lot.

Thanks For The Advice Guys. He Seems Pretty Depressed, But I'll Try To Cheer Him Up And Take His Mind Off IT And Be Supportive.

Change the way your friend views death. tell them:
Life is but a dream, and death is but a doorway. We only cry when people die for selfish reasons, because WE will miss them. Who says they aren't relaxing in some undreamed of paradise, or being born again into another body. Either way death is part of the cycle of life. To be alive one must accept the inevitablity of death. Don't be sad at their passing, it was their time. Instead rejoice at the beauty of their life. If it will make you feel better throw a party in their honor with all their friends there to celebrate what that person's life meant to you, and each and every one of them. Just be greatful they were alive at all.
