Risking my life by standing for my beliefs with a Moderator as my nemesis, I say this:
It's not.
"Only Fools And Horses" is the funniest show EVER! And none shall ever dispute it's ruling... again.

Bozos, never doubt the infallibility of a Moderator's judgement. I curse you with the *zits of potential disaster for your temerity.

* For those of you who may not have come across this terrifying affliction, it's a hideous condition that will convince the sufferer that they are going to develop a zit in a horribly visible position before a particularly important occasion. However, no zit actually develops and it's total panic engendered that gives this spell it's power.

You have been warned

If you never heard of Scrubs, it's a sho about doctors. Imagine Emergency Room. Add comedy. Lots of comedy. Add parody. Shorten the lenght of an episode. There you have it.

Really funny. The comedy is sort of a cross between Ally McBeal and something funny.

...errr... I'm sure between us we can come up with a better description than that...

It may not be on anymore, but Fawlty Towers was, and still is, (on DVD and VHS) the funniest show on TV.

I've seen an episode or two of Scrubs, and wasn't really impressed.

Yeah, Scrubs is pretty funny. Definately worth watching. I also am enjoying the final season of Friends, a comedy that has lasting appeal because of the well-defined characters and how the jokes are really based on the characters' personalities. Whoopi is also a nice anti-PC source of humor.

I don't know how to describe the Scrubs comedy style. Barry mentioned Alley McBeal, and the imaginary flash scenes do remind me of Alley. I think Scrubs is funnier, though -- buy Alley was very funny its first 2seasons.

Oh, and Happy Family is really funny, too. John Laroquette (Dan from Night Court) still has it.
