Is "Wizards & Warriors" compatible with Windows Me? I'm dying to get it and dive into it, but I don't want to mess up my system.

It will run under WinMe, but you may have to "jimmy" some of the settings to get it to run. There are some threads on that floating around, either in "Best Tips" or in the "Help Desk" posts.

I run it on Windoze ME, and it runs fine. Occasionally, it will dump me out of the game for inexplicable reasons, but since I put this system together, it has had a few "idiosyncracies" with it, so it may have nothing to do with the game.

I run Windows ME and found that I had to close everything that was running in the background with the exception of Explorer and Systray. That seemed to help me out alot. Kinda a pain to go thru all the End Tasks..but it seemed to stop throwing me out or locking my puter up. Hope this helps.

I also run on Windows ME -BTW if you're thinking of getting this O/S, don't... Win 98 is far more stable and less prone to crashes... wait for XP to come out- and I don't have any major problems running this game.
The only thing you what to make sure is that you dissable any immediate notification warning like your e-mail or MSN messenger. 'cause when you get a notification, you will most likely crash. |

LOL...just another prime example of how the wonderful world of microsoft works...I had nothing BUT problems when I upgraded to win 98..and now that I've upgraded to ME they have mysteriously disappeared..lmao...guess it's extremely individual and depends on all the various factors involved in each individual system...lmao

It works perfect with me and I don't have to do anything.
