Poll! Is cancelling role quests a cheat.

A way to get into guilds that you are not a member of is to take on a role quest and then cancel it. Do you think that this is a breach of faith with the guilds. Is this really meant to be a part of the game or is it a cheat?

It's meant to be a feature of the game. Page 16 of the manual. I quote, "You may cancel the Role Ascension training for your character at any time by re-selecting it, but the training fee will not be refunded." If the manual says you can do it, it's legal.

And you're not breaking faith with the guilds, they still get to keep their money.

That sounds reasonable, I haven't read the manual for a long time.
A question then. If you do cancel a role quest can you go back to it at a later date?

You can go back to a class quest as many times as you like until you complete it. I know I have.

If there's an issue in all this, it's probably that you shouldn't be allowed to join the guild until you've completed the class quest. But the game allows you to, so...

So I vote it's not a cheat, but a feature. Possibly a poorly-thought-out feature, but one nonetheless.

for me, i vote that it's NOT a cheat! well........it should be the game's fault that we are all able to do this (no offence to those who really LOVES the game!). this is probarbly a glich in the game that most of us makes use of anyway..............
