A little stressed out - yes - but not related to all this talk about killing NPCs! I'm tough, I can take it!

And all the NPCs are safe in my game (except for Sebastio)!

Actually, WillowIX, I wasn't talking about killing Oakenmir. I was just thinking about attacking him, and getting him to summon some friends. Once the friends leave me enough seeds, I'd go along my merry way.

Because unlike others, he... will... NOT... hunt... you... down...

I did kill him in one of my games, but it was very unsatisfying. I got a bunch of XP and levels (around 30, I think), which meant that I had to spend the better part of an hour levelling up my party. Bo-o-o-ring!

It's one seed per questor, LiOnHe@rT, so the one seed you got will do for your wizard. Anyone else will need another seed, though.

And since you've opened the door, you won't get the quest to open the door. If you're at level 7 already, though, it doesn't matter (although you do get to miss out on a batch of Sebastio spewing every time you go into the guild after you complete the open door quest).

The only Easy way yo do it,these days.. ...is to use the 'Graphics Library'. Click on the button, on the top of this page, to check it out.

You won't find this guy in there though...
He's a Wvyern Original. They all live here...Red's Family Page...

They're a little more work to use...Next time you post....click on the 'UBB Code is enabled' link (to the left of the text box) to learn how.

Well, LiOnHe@rT, Packrat's already pointed you to the easy way. There is another way that's both easier and harder at the same time -- easier 'cause you don't have to look them up, but harder 'cause you have to remember the codes.

If you're familiar with standard internet smilies (things like and so on), then you can simply drop the nose on the boards. For example, becomes : ), which (when you remove that space between the two characters), becomes .

Once you've reviewed the graphics library, you'll probably remember a few of the existing codes. Try those, like : thewave : and see how you like them.

And if you fat-finger a post (like I'm afraid I'll do with this one -- bzzarght! I misremembered the wave), no big deal -- just go back and edit it. I've done that more than once...

Oh, and I forgot to mention one other thing -- the one-seed-per-questor rule applies in both the patched and unpatched game, but in the unpatched game, you can pass it around to everyone. Some consider that cheating... right, Packrat?
