I did that mantrap thing. "Monsters! Charge! *whack* *whack* Arrrrgh! *kak*"
And it took me the longest time to learn to check underwater for pathways. I wandered around the asylum forever my first time through. Never did notice that opening under the water. Finally had to check a walkthrough to find the exit. Had the same problem getting into Shirugeon castle. I didn't look at the bottom of the moat. Fortunately, after Shirugeon, I learned to check in the water.

One of the dumdest thing I ever did...was actually ...Lucky ..for me...
 My first time through the 'Crypt'...I had just killed the wizard & warrior spirits and picked up the crystals, they had dropped. I then spent the better part of an hour learning how to carry & stack crates....So I could reach the 'ruined figurines'. As I was moving the last crate into place...I noticed a strange brick in the wall...with a crystal shaped indentation....The walkthrough I had found, didn't tell me what to do with the crystals...  Thats when I found this board.

I did that to,takes ages but you get the tresure from the wizards and warriors paths if yo do it on both altars!(i did that aswell thinking you where ment to)
