I know ravens are slightly bigger than their cousins. But I know there is more of a difference between the two.

Aaah... Thanks for posting this topic and the wonderful replies. I often wonder that myself but always thought that Raven is the term used by Westerners while Crow is mainly used by Asians.

Ravens eat flesh, crows eat both seed and flesh.
And the birds are from two different bird families...Ravens are bluish/black and crows are black..there can be white crows, but they are very rare.

IIRC white crows are albino crows. Kind of like white tigers and etc, could have happened to ravens too.
