It had been far too many years since Robin Williams did an HBO special. His currently running "Live On Broadway" had me in tears I was laughing so hard.
Golfers have to see it. Not that there isn't something in it for most everyone but his take on the creation of golf was just brilliant! Who loves kitty? |

Oh I want to see it so badly... I got a video called "An Evning with Robin Willams" and is from 1983 or so and it is one of the funniest thing I have ever seen

Okay
Robin Williams is excellent, but has anyone ever seen Billy Connelly live or seen his stand up videos, he is sooo funny. Any us Englanders will know who I mean. Lady Zidane

I loved his movies too ("What are we gonna do now Sonny?" From Survivors(?) with Walter Matthau) If you've never seen his stand-up though you are really missing out...if I remember and can get my mic back from KHaN for a little while, I'll record at least his take on the creation of golf so that I can post the text here. Vidoes of his old stand-up should be available somewhere...look for them! |

Oh Man, I love Billy Connoly too, he has had me in tears on a couple of occasions but Robbin Williams is still the leader.
