red shroud

i'm sorry but i can not get the shruod into my inventory screen to give to the dragon? no matter who has it, it will not come up in my inventory so i can give it to the dragon!!! i have dropped it, that didn't work either? i have put it in my weapon screen and it wont come up? i have tried to tell him i have it, that didn't work? what am i doning wrong?

It won't come up on "Use/Give"?

I assume that you're in the Dragon Spire already. Some players have tried to give it to Erathsmedor when he's flying around the Shire, but that won't work; you have to catch him at home.

Assuming that you're in the Spire and talking to him, you have to enter "Talk" mode and choose the code word "Elseramavin" from the list. He'll then ask you for the Shroud. Whoever has it, click "Use/Give" and go into "Give" mode; click through your options and then when it's displayed, click on the Dragon. He should accept it.

If you've been doing this and it still isn't working, I don't know what to tell you. Make sure it's not equipped by anyone, because it can be used as a shield.

gandolph - when you click on the use/give icon - choose GIVE and then use the arrows at the top and bottom of the use/give window to scroll through your inventory. It is important that you have choosen GIVE and not "use". Hope this will solve the problem!
