Well I'm asking because frankly I'm curious. Has anyone been here and if they have what did they like about it? I just like to know if people even know Gibraltar exists.

My Mom went there, said there was litter everywhere and was dissappointed. However she did love Spain and had a great time.

Well not what I expected but never mind, did she go there 5 to 10 years ago by any chance because if she did I can agree with her.

Then that would have been the chief minister at the times's fault. He messed up everything but our new one has been much more sucessful and has actually delivered what he promised.

I've been there, I visited for a day as part of a mediteranean cruise on the Canberra. There wasn't a lot to do apart from shopping. I hear the apes are getting a bit out of hand these days!

I was in Gibraltar back in November; spent the day there. I must say that I enjoyed my day there. I did not find it "dirty." I did have an up-close and personal encounter with one of the apes. I purposely stayed across the street from the apes, because I did not want to get neat them. A large male looked me dead in the eye, crossed the street and proceeded to climb up me (I could feel his claws), I was paralyzed with fear and some friends managed to shoo him away from me.

I found the town quaint though overly commecialized. I tried to wander around in the less commercialized areas. And as an added bonus, I can actually say that a have "seen" the coast of Africa across the Strait to Gilbraltar.

It is perhaps something that I would not necesarrily seek out to do again, but I am glad that I took advantage of the opportunity to go there.
