So far, the new hot water heater seems to be okay. I worked out and showered at the gym this morning, but my wife said it was good, although she had to turn the water a little hotter than usual. I'm sure that's just the tank setting... although I consider her "comfortable" shower setting to be just below "lobster boil"

Haven't heard back from the plumbing company today, but there's still time. And yes, Mack, it's a new water heater. There are now just three appliances that we haven't replaced in this house... the microwave, the furnace, and the A/C. I think the furnace's days may be numbered... not because it's breaking, but because it's old and less efficient.

Time to get hopping for the rest of the day. Got to get some lunch and figure out some questions for tonight's Toastmasters meeting. I think Service may be the theme...

Ah yes, today has been a wonderful day, filled with, y'know, the standard fare of listening to Suketu Bhavsar lecture on matrices with exactly the quantity of vigor that is required for me to completely miss the problem until I'm, y'know, neck deep into it in my notes, when I finally figure out what the heck we were solving...

We, as it turns out, were writing a summation that represented the determinant of a product of two matrices, A and B.

What a day! Absoulutely pouring down buckets of rain on the ice we got last night. My co-worker is her usual uncommunicative vaguely belligerent self and another member of the department had a shouting match with my boss who was in tears and then angry and then left.....oh boy.. what a way to start a year!

Think I'll go home and kill stuff in a game or watch a nice, fun, movie and snuggle the hubby a bit....life's gotta be more soothing and fun than this day has been!

Just remember that it's "Kill the game, snuggle with the hubby". Don't switch it... or Nacht will be very unhappy...

Sorry your day hasn't been very good, Cloudy. Mine was better than yesterday... up to the point where I realized, after leaving for Detroit, that I'd forgotten my cell phone. Had to turn back around to get it and was a bit late along the way.

At least I've made some customers happy today.

Naw, I was doing... something. Probably working. We need a goalie.

Dangit...I freakin' hate emails. And now, I have to open that abyss that is my inbox again. My professor is making me. I know it can't be for my own good. What is beyond that password prompt is not meant for human eyes!!!

AAAAAARRRRRGH!

If it swallows me up, body and soul, I give my pen and pencil holder to the first person to post after me.

Nice pencil holder, Ilander. Hehehe...awww, I hope the big bad email didn't eat you! We can't keep enough Mountain Dew on hand in the Cafe for that soda guzzling weasel of yours!

Bungleau, *snicker, chortle* I got it right...killed some orcs and snuggled the hubby, who was a dear. He even rubbed my feet...now that's a sweetheart of a husband!

Oops.. don't you hate it when you remember what you left behind and you CAN'T go back for it? Good thing you hadn't gone too far before you realized you'd left your phone! I once got two thirds of the way to my folks' house (when they were about 4 hrs away) and realized I'd left my Dad's birthday present on my table at home...needless to say I mailed it to him later! Doh!

Wo, am I tired. My midterms at school ended early so I figured I could get home earlier for my 3 day weekend if I just walked the 8.5 miles instead of waiting a few hours and taking the buss. I saw my bus pass by 2 minutes before I got home >.<
