I'm re-playing the game and this time around, I can't find the flask that you get the ghost to put her tears in. Should I re-start?

Hmmm funny. I re-started my game awhile back. Didn`t get the Ghost Flask this time around either....
Got it the first time.... but never got around to having her put her tears in it... was it important?

The flask is with the Innkeeper in Targos, Cal-something or other. You get it when you ask him what that necrophiliac paid him for renting a room. Not really that important, though -- putting a tear in the flask allows you to have Elytharra turn it into a magic dagger, that's all.

Right, the flask business comes up when you talk to the innkeeper. The dagger you can get for it isn't much, but you can sell the flask to Elytharra for 700 gold, so it's worth bothering about.

She offers five hundred, but a diplomatic type can get another 200 from her. I don't think paladins will do that, though, so try someone else. Sorcerers tend to have good charisma

Glad to know it isn't important. I think I messed up when I didn't talk to those Iron Collar mercenaries at the tavern in the Docks, who tell you about the creepy sorcerer. And I have capped them already, so no going back. My party is seventh level, so it is kinda high to re-start.

I think you may also have to talk to the Iron Collar Cleric before the Inn Keeper will bring up the potion and give you the flask.

You can also just talk to Koluhm. Sometimes, I forget to speak with Geoffrey in the tavern, but visiting Koluhm is good enough to get the converation path opened at the inn.
Also, I think you get more points for convincing the Iron Collar to report for duty than you do for killing them. |
