Okay, let's eliminate one possibility at a time... start with heat first.

1. Open the PC casing.
2. Get a stand fan and blow directly towards it.
3. Run the PC for a while and observe.

If this solved your PC problem, then you need a new casing which supports better ventilation.

Otherwise, I suggest you download one of those memory test programs. Personally I have not used any of them, therefore I couldn't recommend any to you.

Ok, I used the ram memory scan posted above, and it detected something like 210881 errors, so I removed my old RAM and went to buy some new. (EDIT: And that was only on the first pass, too...)

But Ihave a new problem now. I bought a 256 SDRAM one, but my computer detect it as 126 only, why is that?

Also, on the first BIOS screen, when it detect the hard drives and dr-roms, it give me that message:

Suggested SDRAM Cas Latency time is "2". (That was it as far as I remember)

What could be causing that problem?

I doubt it has anything to do with a virus as my antivirus detected a virus I received from email, which prove that's it was working when I scaned my computer.

EDIT: I also looked at msconfig and at my all the program running when I press ctrl+alt+del, and from what I've read on the net, all of them are legit.
Again, is it an UPDATED virus checker? If you hadn't updated the software (usually done free over the internet), then it could be a new virus.

Peronally, I agree with the others, in that it's probably a hardware problem. Following the troubleshooting they suggested will help.

If your BIOS is suggesting a CAS latency of 2, then setting it at 2 or higher (most run at 3, I think) should be fine. CAS latency has to do with the delay of turning info around after it's been requested.

Not sure why it's reading the incorrect RAM amount. Are you sure you bought the right type? Or... perhaps the store sold you the wrong amount.

Yes, it is an updated antivirus. Norton Antivirus like to harass you until you update.

How do I change the CAS latency, and why is it doing that? I didn't have that message when I was using my old RAM.

I think the store really sold me a 256 one, but my computer can only support 126 max, so I'll return it monday and ask for 2 126 instead.

That's semi-normal... especially if they're big files (>5 MB); 256 SDRAM isn't really enough to run Windows without slow-down problems, but those should be all you have (other than the occasional program crash).

If you tempr is 119 C it is way to hot! You are burning out your CPU. Typical (after proper cooling) CPU temp is 40 - 60 deg C and even 60 is high. You need more case fans. You might want to replace the power supply as well. If you have a high end vid card, don't use a PS less than 350 W.
