Overclocking can be really useful to enhanse the life of your machine. its Mostly just for bragging rights tho. ive seen the specs on a rig overclocked from 2 to 4 Ghz. of course it used Liqid nitrogen cooling, but it's still an amazing feat. and an overclock like that would give the bloke serious bragging rights . only prob tho is that if you use AMD you can burn you procceor out. literaly. intel slows down if it overheats so no worries there then.

Overclocking joins the culture of Cold Cathode's and window cases, internaly lit fans, and golden /lazercut steel fan grills. its really for ashtetic pleasure. but any performance increase is surely a good thing (as long as its stable)

try www.overclockers.com for information
www.modthebox.com for case mods
www.mini-itx.com for some weird +wonderful mods
