Try mixing the heat with humidity.
My friends, you haven't lived until you've done that...especially in August when the winds no longer reside in Texas and the air is as still as a dead armadillo on the side of the road.

Geeeee RudeDawg,

Texas in July sounds exactly like West Australia in January (except that the cars are smaller here, and on the right side of the road (ie and that right / correct side would be the left ). Everyone turns up to work earlier and earlier to get the car parks that get the afternoon shade. Two finger driving is taught to all learner drivers .

In central TX it would not rain a drop for months and still reach 90% or more humidity while holding over 100 degrees. It's no fun. No fun at all.
