Organic green, with a squeeze of lemon, if you have it? Nice and reviving!

I contacted a friend in the US and asked whether she knew anyone who could host an exchange student, but she hasn't responded yet. I don't think I'll have much choice on where I want to go, although I'd like to go someplace I haven't been yet (I lived in CT).
Thanks for the coffee. It's actually pretty good in here!

And Seph, are you sure she brought you the right kind of truffle? That looks more like one of those expensive black mushrooms than a chocolate confection.

Oh, also, what time of year would you be here? The reason I ask is, if you might want to visit in Georgia, I might be able to fix you up a room in my house for your 2-3 month visit. I don't know what all is required to host an exchange student, but if we qualify, we'd love to have you. Just let me know if you are interested and we'll talk more about it to see if it would work. You can e-mail me if you would prefer. I'm pretty sure I've got my e-mail turned on here.

And you say you're cold, hon? Here, this'll warm you up...

Miss DragonMage , may I ask if you were directly personally affected by this week's tragic events ? Do you have family or friends in either DC or NYC ?

Always plenty of tea here! You prefer darjeeling, oolong, Earl Grey, jasmine, plain old orange pekoe?

Cloudy, who also just got up from a nap

Just waiting for your waitress Kaz! I ordered organic green with lemon. I reckon Kaz may be trapped by the monsters in the kitchen, lol!

I'd probably come for 2-3 months, September to November 2002 or so. I'd like to be home before Christmas - some people go for a whole year, but that's too long for me. It would be very nice to come to you, Georgia sounds interesting. Discussion to be continued by e-mail

Thanks Kaz. Mmmmm! Smells good!

Hey! Before you go - can I ask you a silly English question? You know the name Colin? Do all Americans pronounce it the way Colin Powell does? Or is it his personal variation? Just curious.

its a personal variation. most of the time its pronounced like Colin, but Colin Powell decides to be different and pronounce it like Colon. i like to use a variation of his name (Colon POW) when i give some ppl nicknames...
