Re: Obama sticking our broke nose
Spirit: Here is an idea...close CIA and stop backing the dictator's round the world so the rest of us don't "expect" you to help clean up - Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya are all places with leaders that were initially backed by the U.S.
I don't think the rest of the world thinks more of you than they do of other countries ( I for one does not like the fact that "the land of the free" also has the most gun-related deaths in the world and even the death penalty in many states - we do however expect you to clean up your own blunders. As such I would remind you that you are the youngest country around ( speaking to USA here not you mate ) and as such it is about time you started acting with a little respect at your elders. De facto - USA has to be involved in order to keep a "good" standing with the rest of the world - as the rest of the world would most likely just turn away from the USA when the time comes for the support to be needed if the USA is not there when it matters. Denmark - where I am from has joined USA in Iraq, Afghanistan and even in Libya - I don't mind any of these....I just wish that the government had been honest with us about why they did it. Telling us that Saddam had MDW hidden was a blunder - they could just have told us that they felt the urge to punt Saddam away from power cause he was mad - I know I would have backed that decision - though I am actually anti-war and would probably be called a communist in the USA ( here in Denmark I am a member of the Socialistic Peoples Party - the 3rd largest party in the country ).

Re: Obama sticking our broke nose
Well, well, it takes a democrat making a war to finally get the hawks pointing out the cost of it all. Well played hypocrisy is well played.
Hey, deficit hawks, how many of you were "For" giving those individuals making over $250k/yr a permanent 2% tax cut that will cost us nearly a trillion dollars? Oh, and hey, how many of you are for busting up the teachers unions, because clearly those fat cat teachers live way too high on the hog? I could never have fathomed how beautifully the wealthy have played us all. Our middle class supports tax cuts for the rich, while being goaded into attacking each other demanding salary cuts for other middle class folks. It's lunacy. Re: Obama sticking our broke nose
Politics go on, even trips to Brazil. Bush took many vacations to Texas during his Iraqi debacle.

Brazil would be my choice over Texas anyday, there's more topless women there. I think i'd make a smart politician.
